Since emerging onto the North Carolina music scene in the late 90s, Supastition has built an esteemed career that has elevated him from local artist to an internationally renowned MC and producer. Born in the Eastern North Carolina city of Greenville, Supastition quickly made a name for himself through radio and street battles after relocating to Charlotte, NC in the 90s. With a stellar catalog of music releases, Supa has solidified his spot among the best indie hip-hop artists of the 2000s. Supastition’s reputation for live performances has captivated audiences worldwide in over 13 countries and almost 40 states.

After earning strong notoriety for stellar features and collaborations, Supastition has rapped on songs alongside the likes of KRS One, Little Brother, Royce da 5’9”, Elzhi, Skyzoo, RJD2, Blueprint, Stoupe (of Jedi Mind Tricks) and even contributed a verse to the 2010 ‘Wake Up Show Anthem.’ Boasting a catalog of 13 releases to date, listeners have praised his projects such as Chain Letters, Deadline, Gold Standard, Honest Living, and Sacrifice. Supa’s music catalog contains production from Grammy award-winning producers such as M-phazes, !llmind, Symbolyc One, and Jake One, Marco Polo, Khrysis, Nicolay, Vitamin D, Praise, and many others. Established labels such as Soulspazm Records, Rawkus Records, and Entertainment One (eOne) have all previously released Supastition music on their labels.

Supastition currently releases music independently through his music production company, Eavesdrop Music Group. His projects are self-funded and allow him 100% creative control and ownership. While he has no interest in fame or popularity, Supa’s main purpose is to create a lane for hip-hop that displays honesty and vulnerability while embracing its true roots.
